Military Recruitment is one of the biggest issues on campuses today. NO SIR! is the Living Theatre’s latest street theater play. It is created to be performed in front of a seven-minute commercial, made by the government for military recruitment. The play requires 12 participants; we can work with up to 30. We need 14 hours of rehearsal and can conduct the workshop over a weekend, culminating in a performance. The performance is meant to be the catalyst for a symposium. Speakers such as Iraq war veterans, a local army recruiter and professors from appropriate departments are invited to speak and lead discussions.
